The first College Football Playoff Committee rankings have been released. The regular season is 2/3 of the way done. As a result of these things, we now have more than pure speculation as to the postseason. Obviously, there are several weeks to go, and teams can play themselves in or out of the playoffs still. Nothing is set in stone, but we have enough to finally do a deep dive and look at the other contenders and Georgia and take stock.
I think that UGA is right where we should be. 2nd highest ranked behind Alabama of the 1-loss teams. Our resume is as good as any one in the field, including #1 Ohio State. We have 2 wins against the current top 25, 1 against a top 10 team.
