Beat Bama Week 2 was a resounding success!
This truly feels like breaking through the one last glass ceiling Georgia Football was running into. This is the catharsis we all needed and wanted.
Even I, as I was watching it, felt both at ease that the Dawgs were taking care of business and the sense that it’s not over until it’s over. I didn’t really even panic much when Bama scored to cut it to 21-7. Still felt like Georgia had just controlled this game too much to find any way to lose.
As the game was ending, I just started to have the satisfied grin that you can’t get rid of even when someone tells you that you have it and you think you should be more discreet.
I also thought to myself, “Cole Spear was Frickin’ onside!”
