Today our goal is to look at what Saturday actually meant. Are we title contenders? Are we SEC Championship favorites? Should we be?
Did Saturday move the need for the national or SEC-focused media on the Dawgs’ chances of being just a playoff hopeful or National Championship contender?
Those questions don’t rest solely on what the Dawgs did on the field. What the rest of the top 10 teams did by comparison sheds a lot of light on Georgia’s prospects for this season. After all, we don’t have to beat 2022 Georgia, but we might have to beat 2025 LSU or perhaps 2025 Ohio State to be a champion.
